Dam, my 2nd generation pentium 4 is reportedly slower than a high end Pentium 3.
I couldn't deny it man.
I found it out when i saw my friend's intel Pentium M powering a game.
Everything was smooth as silk ! No obvious lag or whatever.
When my p4 1.7ghz powers that game up, i lag so bad i couldn't be bothered to play it.
Now, i'm alittle smarter.
Byebye con man, i make my own decisions now ;)
Then again, i'm a tad worried . . worried ?
Nah, feeling alittle uneasy for my exams.
Sure i gave it my 80%, but i'm sure i could do better.
I don't think i'll go army this year :D *grin*
So here's my current build with my limited budget.
Intel Pentium 4 3.2 Extreme Edition (socket 478 ;/)
1gb of Ddr 400 ram
.. thats it LOL.
That would amt to $555.
My second setup is only possible if i go up :D
Amd 3.5ghz + Abit mother board 580$
1gb ram $175
Geforce 6600GT $ 289 or 6800LE $290 or . . i support nvidia :D
Sata1/2 120gb HDD 190$
Amting to $1235
Not bad eh ? :)
For now, i'll stick with my low end computer ;/
